Kason P. Rens Register in honor of Kason

He was generous in death, as he was in life...

My son Kason was a young man who was always upbeat and full of life. He had so many dreams that he was diligently pursuing. He loved music and wrote his own songs. As the old saying goes, he never met a stranger. He always made those who met him feel like he was their friend. His friends all commented on how he was always positive and encouraging.

He loved to hike and was always up for a new adventure. He had recently made a new friend who shared his love of seeing the desert while hiking with her.

Our hearts are heavy, and we will never be able to fill that hole that he left in our lives. We take comfort in knowing that because he was generous in death, as he was in life, there are so many other lives that he will continue to touch.

I leave you with a line from one of his songs;
That’s a dream right? Or reality if you dream right.

    When King David got the news of his sons death, he went into his chamber and wept. He said, “O my son Absalom—my son, my son Absalom—if only I had died in your place! O Absalom my son, my son!” It has been 28 months since you were taken from us, and this cry of a father has been my daily cry. Time has not relinquished my loss. Time has not caused my memories of you to fade. Not once have I pillowed my head at night without you in my thoughts. Not once have I woke up in the middle of the night, or in the morning, without you on my mind. My loss is profound and immeasurable. I’m sure the question, “Why do the good die young?”, is not always accurate. But it certainly regarding you. I LOVE YOU MY SON… Dad

    Kason, I miss you with all of my being. No one can ever or will ever fill the hole that was ripped into my heart the day you were so tragically taken from us. Your generous heart in life lives on figuratively and literally, in death. I miss your joyous smile and infectious laugh. You are my heart, Mo. I love you I love you I love you...forever and always. Love, DeDe
