He gave the ultimate gift of life...

Just ask anyone who knew him, Jim was the most giving person. Whether it was his time, his love or the last $20 bill he had in his wallet, all you had to do was ask and it was yours. He suffered with kidney failure the last few years. He was actually working to get approved for a kidney transplant. Never complained about feeling terrible all the time, he just went about life…and what a great life it was. Loving husband, father and grandfather. Having his grandsons around him brought him more joy than you could imagine. He and his wife, Kelley, were surrounded by amazing family and friends, and they were able to travel and enjoy some amazing food. They were actually vacationing in San Diego when a tragic accident spurred a chain of events that forever changed the Tucker Family…and the life of other families that Jim ultimately helped with his donation. His liver came back to a recipient in Arizona. He also donated eyes, tissue, bones, skin and ligaments. Our loss is indescribable but knowing he helped someone is certainly comforting. He was able to give the ultimate gift…the gift of life.

My Dad was the most amazing, kind, loving, person I’ve ever come across he was always there to help us when we needed it the most. I miss his calls, his voice, his laughter, him calling me kiddo, he really knew how to put a smile on my face. I miss him so much and I will always miss him until my last breath. Rest easy Dad. Until we meet again. -Your kiddo 💜
