Jill Shellhammer, Donor Family
This made the tragic loss a tiny bit bearable....
My brother, David, passed away in November of 1995. Due to the cause of his death, and medical practices of the day, we were able to only donate corneas, skin, bone and tissue. Although no lifesaving organs were viable, we, the family, felt that his death wasn’t for nothing. His donations were life-enhancing. This made the tragic loss a tiny bit bearable.
