I am forever grateful...

I am the recipient of two corneal transplants. I was 19 when I was first diagnosed with the degenerative disease called keratoconus. Never in my wildest imagination did I think that one day someone would tell me that I needed a corneal transplant to be able to do day-to-day functions and SEE. I never thought much about it before, but I know what it did for me and how it saved me. It has given me my life back because someone decided to put donor on their driver’s license. I am forever grateful!!!!
