Banner Desert Medical Center & Cardon Children’s Medical Center, Registered Donor

This year, we have once again chosen to participate in a state-wide campaign called Health Care for Hope. Donor Network of Arizona (DNA), the state’s federally designated, nonprofit organ procurement organization, coordinates this annual campaign as part of its mission to make the most of life through the gift of organ and tissue donation.
Our participation in this campaign is a testament to how our work in donation and transplantation changes lives every day. It is a symbol of hope for the more than 123,000 people in the United States who are waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant, and it is a symbol of strength for those donors and their families who have made that most generous decision to share life.
We are committed to involving our employees and the community to make their decision to save and heal lives by registering as a donor at DonateLifeAZ.org or by checking the donor box when they apply for their license or ID at the MVD.
In support of Banner Desert/Cardon Children’s Medical Center’s efforts to save and heal lives through the miracle of donation and transplantation, I ask you to join me in registering as an organ, eye and tissue donor by visiting our organization’s page on Arizona’s Wall of Life, located at https://www.liveonaz.org/stories/bannerdesert/. Register as a donor in honor of our organization, and please speak with your family about your decision to sign up.
As many of you know, April is designated as National Donate Life Month, a month to celebrate the renewed health of organ, eye and tissue recipients while honoring those selfless gifts given by donors and their families. We at Banner Desert/Cardon Children’s Medical Centers are so pleased to already have saved 14 lives this past January. It was a stellar month for us.
