Arthur “Roy” Olson, Donor

Arthur “Roy” Olson Register in honor of Roy

Share Roy's story with others:

I treasure every minute I had with you...

Roy was passionate about being a donor. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather.

Although our time together was cut short, I treasure every minute I had with you, and I miss you deeply, Roy.

When I received the letter from Donor Network, I was overwhelmed that because of his tissue donation, he helped so many people.

You will be forever in my heart.

“Bye for Now”

My Love always, Diana

My Uncle Roy was like a special treat for us because he always lived so far away...us being in NY and him living in Tucson. We would always enjoy seeing him when he came to visit. He loved to tease me and my brother as do many uncles. One of my most memorable vacations was when we went to spend some time with him in Arizona and he drove around a mountain like a lunatic just to make us scared. The news of his passing was tough for many people but finding out from my cousin how many he helped makes it hurt just a tiny bit less. I know that uncle Roy is hanging out somewhere with my grandparents and his brother having some great laughs. Rest easy Uncle Roy.

My Daddy was a very caring and concentrate man. He would have done anything for anyone. All they had to do was ask. I looked up to to my father. He was my mentor. I learned a lot from him. I missed out on many years with him but the time that we did have together I will treasure always. I am thankful that he was able to save many lives. For that I am thankful. I know that at least there is a little bit of him still on this earth and he was able to help many people. He will live on for many years in those he helped. When I Heard of the donation from my father to so many I called right away and put myself on the Donation for Life. I will also follow in my Daddy's footsteps. You are always with me Pop AKA Mr. Rogers Love Barbara Your only Beej
