Kayleigh Marie Manderscheid was a rare free spirit. Her smile, her laughter and the never-ending friendships and connections she had with people will live on in all our hearts. Raft guiding in Alaska, hockey playing (goalie) in freezing temperatures in the nights of Alaska. She was a Ski Instructor in Colorado to little kids. Jumping out of airplanes to bungee jumping the rivers in Africa. Even wallowing in the waters of Victoria Falls. She was a friend to the homeless. She fostered dogs. She was bilingual, and she loved reading. She had an amazing vocabulary. From the day she found out she could be a donor at her death, that is what she chose to do. It was always her wish. Just one more unselfish act. That was just Kayleigh.
