Danny John Richards, Transplant Recipient

Being Danny's mother, I, too, am very grateful my son received the liver from a precious person in November 2014. I remember the day very well and always will. Both he and his sister were in the hospital on Thanksgiving day. Danny in U of M Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI and his sister in St. Joes in Phoenix, AZ. Quite a memorable time for me and our family. Although I haven't seen him since then, his photos look great. He is on heavy meds and is taking life easier at a slower pace. As for his sister Cheryl, she too, is taking life a bit slower. She did not receive an organ transplant but a heart valve (2nd) at that time. Thank you God for giving my children more time to be with me and our family. Love, Bonnie Curley
